I started teaching youth filmmaking as a volunteer with an after school program in 2007. Since 2011 I have been teaching filmmaking in Philadelphia high schools and through summer programs. As my educational programs have expanded it evolved into a new entity called Video Visionaries. If I was asked 12 years ago, I would have never imagined that I would find something I love as much as filmmaking, but sharing my first love of filmmaking with my students has made teaching the second passion in my life. Check out some of the students great work on our YouTube channel.

Video Visionary Students cover Unveiling of Ed Bradley Mural
Video Visionaries students were hired to cover the unveiling of the Ed Bradley Mural as photo journalist. The event sponsored by the Ed Bradley foundation and the Philadelphia Mural Arts program showcased the work of the artist Ernel Martinez and the legacy of the great journalistic work of Philadelphia's own Ed Bradley. We are really looking forward to doing more projects with the Ed Bradley foundation in the future.
